Inbound transfer from Sacramento Northern/WP

Train originates in Stockton/Valley staging

To better compete with the SP, the SN/WP and the ATSF offer expedited service. This involves "hot cars" from the SN/WP transfer which are added to the VSC in Orchard.

Procedures

• Obtain clearance from Orchard Tower
• Run west to Orchard Yard, Chico
• Coordinate transfer of WB "hot blocks" with Orchard Yard job for expedited service on the Valley Super C
• Drop remaining cars in A/D track as directed by Orchard Yardmaster
• Obtain clearance
• Return cab light to Stockton/Valley Staging
• Go off duty
