• This is the holding area for through traffic originating from or destined to all Santa Fe points southwest of Chico to the Bay Area, including Martinez and Richmond
  
• The yard consists of 6 hidden stub-ended tracks located underneath Red Bluff. All the tracks are 25ft long and each can hold a 35-car train
  
• The yard is reached by taking the right side of the wye at Chico Wye Tower
